Pravati Capital partners with SEI Access to expand advisor access to litigation finance alternative investments

Pravati Capital, one of the oldest litigation finance firms in the United States, has announced a strategic partnership with SEI Access to make litigation finance investment opportunities more accessible to registered investment advisors and financial professionals. The collaboration, announced on February 24, 2026, from Scottsdale, Arizona, will leverage SEI’s alternative investment product marketplace to provide an end-to-end platform for evaluating and managing litigation finance strategies.

Through this partnership, Pravati’s litigation finance offerings will be integrated into SEI’s enhanced platform, enabling financial advisors to incorporate private market strategies alongside traditional assets. According to the firms, the collaboration aims to streamline how advisors evaluate, access, and manage exposure to this alternative investment class.

Litigation Finance Investment Market Shows Strong Growth Potential

The timing of this partnership aligns with significant growth projections for the sector. According to a January report by Research Nester, the global litigation funding investment market was valued at more than $20 billion in 2025. The market is projected to expand to more than $50 billion by 2036, reflecting increasing investor interest in alternative assets uncorrelated to traditional market performance.

Litigation finance represents a distinct alternative investment opportunity where private capital supports meritorious legal claims. This investment strategy is designed to help investors pursue diversification and risk mitigation by providing exposure to assets that operate independently of broader market fluctuations.

Platform Integration Enhances Advisor Access

Pravati Capital selected SEI Access specifically for its technological capabilities and streamlined workflows. According to Kris Kjolberg, managing director and head of Capital Strategy at Pravati Capital, the platform offers smart workflows, automation, and seamless data connectivity between fund managers and advisors within a secure environment.

“SEI’s institutional-grade technology and deep platform integration allow us to scale efficiently while delivering the transparency and operational excellence advisors expect,” Kjolberg stated. He emphasized that the partnership strengthens Pravati’s ability to bring litigation finance to the advisor community in a modern, frictionless manner.

Supporting Evolving Investor Needs

Meanwhile, SEI has expressed enthusiasm about adding a litigation finance specialist to its platform. Mathew Dellorso, managing director at SEI, noted that the partnership supports a forward-thinking approach to alternative investments. The collaboration aims to advance how alternative asset managers engage with and meet the evolving needs of investors while scaling their portfolios.

The platform’s elegant advisor experience supports efficient onboarding, reporting, and ongoing fund management. These features are intended to reduce friction in accessing alternative investments that have traditionally been more difficult for financial advisors to incorporate into client portfolios.

Pravati Capital’s Industry Experience

Established in 2013, Pravati Capital has positioned itself as among the oldest litigation finance firms operating in the United States. The firm was founded by Alexander Chucri, who developed the industry’s first pioneering model of litigation finance in 2003. Additionally, Pravati brings together a team with experience across law, finance, and entrepreneurial ventures.

The Scottsdale-based firm delivers strategic capital solutions for attorneys and law firms while helping plaintiffs gain access to justice through financial support. For accredited investors, Pravati offers an asset class designed to perform independently of traditional markets.

Financial advisors interested in exploring litigation finance strategies can now access Pravati Capital’s offerings through the SEI Access alternative investment product marketplace. However, specific details regarding minimum investment requirements and fund performance have not been disclosed in the announcement.
